Can I use any repairer? / Where can I get my car repaired?

We recommend that you use a Renault approved repairer as they will be fully equipped to repair your vehicle to the highest standard. Should that not be possible, and you need to make alternative arrangements, please ensure that your chosen repairer is VAT registered and contacts our Renault Extended Warranty claims team (0844 573 8035) before proceeding with any work.

Is breakdown or recovery included?

No, but if you do not already have Renault Assistance you will be covered for the cost of towing your vehicle to a repairer up to a maximum of £60.

Are existing faults covered?

Unfortunately, we can’t cover existing faults with your vehicle. You should have these faults rectified by a Renault authorised repairer before purchasing a Renault Extended Warranty.

How can I pay for my Renault Extended Warranty?

You can pay for Renault Extended Warranty by using a credit or a debit card. A Monthly Renewing option is also available - payable by 10 monthly Direct Debits at no extra cost.

Top

How soon can I make a valid claim?

You can make a claim as soon as your policy is registered with us – there's no waiting period. However if the failure occurred before your policy was registered your claim will not be covered.

Top

Will I have to pay for repairs myself and then claim the money back afterwards?

No, Renault Extended Warranty will pay the repairing dealer direct for all authorised work up to the claims limit outlined in the Policy Document. However, if repairs are needed while you are abroad, you will need to pay the bill first and then contact our Customer Services Team on your return to the UK.

Am I covered for car hire while repairs are carried out?

Renault Extended Warranty will pay for car hire for up to five days (£40 per day maximum) as outlined in your Policy Document. Car hire must be from a Renault dealer or a recognised car hire company.
